It's for the Birds - Bird Feeder

I bought bird food over a year ago, came home and alas - no bird feeder. Tired of not finishing tasks I woke up today determined to make a "friggin" bird feeder with the girls. 

We took pine cones and tied string to them. We then mixed lard, raisins and bird seeds in a large bowl and simply caked the mixture onto the pine cones. The girls chose where to hang their feeders. I haven't actually witnessed birds feeding but as soon as I do - you'll hear about it here.
